Shrimp Tostadas

Hey everyone! Hopefully you had a great weekend, I know it was pretty uneventful here and I ended up doing a ton of editing finally getting caught up. Well I know you guys are here for recipes though, so today we are making some Shrimp Tostadas! The great thing about this one is when I filmed it, it was cold and windy out but this also works on the grill so is a great simple year round recipe that will always totally kill it. How to Make Easy Shrimp Tostadas

Total Time 30 minutes
Course Appetizer, Dinner
Cuisine American, Mexican, TexMex
Servings 6 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Tostadas

Shrimp/Marinade:

  • 2 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp. Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1-1/2 lb. Raw Shrimp Peeled

Guacamole:

  • 2 Avocados
  • 1/2 Bunch Cilantro Diced
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1/2 Lime Juiced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Pico de Gallo:

  • 3 Tomatoes Seeded, and Chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Jalapeño Seeded & Diced
  • 1/2 Red Onion Diced
  • 1/2 Bunch Cilantro Diced

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and olive oil. Add in the shrimp and toss until completely coated.
  • In a second bowl combine all the guacamole ingredients and mash together. In third bowl mix together all the ingredients from the pico de gallo.
  • Heat a pan over a medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for a couple of minutes on each side until shrimp are no longer opaque.
  • To serve, divide the guacamole evenly between the tostadas, top with shrimp and the pico de gallo.
