Another weekend gone and man is this year flying by. I am not sure what your weather is like right now but my, well it’s cold lol. So I am doing more geared towards these cold nights. With that in mind here is a great one my wife found and fell in love with quickly. A Chipotle Steak Chili. When it comes to stews, soups and chilis the wife knows what is best lol so I follow her lead on these and she never lets me down lol. Even better with it being wrestling season I am at wrestling meets for my son twice a week so slow cooker recipes are PERFECT for this season. Chipotle Steak Chili Recipe

Ingredients
  1. 2 lb. Sirloin Steak
  2. 2 14oz. Cans Chili Beans
  3. 1 14 o. Can Petite Diced Tomatoes
  4. 4-5 Cups Beef Broth (depending how thick you want it)
  5. 1 Onion Diced
  6. 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  7. 2-3 Chipotle Chilis in Adobo
  8. 2 Tbsp. Adobo Sauce (from above chilis)
  9. 1 tsp. Cumin
  10. 1 tsp. Oregano
  11. Salt
  12. Pepper
Instructions
  1. Cut streak into bite sized chunks, season with salt and pepper. Heat a little bit of oil in a pan/skillet and sear steaks. Set aside with juices from pan.
  2. In same skillet add a little more oil and sauté onions until they begin to get soft. Add in garlic and allow to cook for another minute or two
  3. Place all ingredients into your slow cooker/crock pot. Cook on low for 3 hours.
  4. Allow to rest for 10-15 minutes and serve!
