Spinach Artichoke Pizza

Sometimes I do a recipe specifically for someone in my family ( I could do one specifically for you too lol check out my Patreon to learn how). This is one of those recipes, this one is for the wife. She loves Spinach and Artichoke dips and it totally made her day when I the Spinach Artichoke bites… well now I am going to take it a little further and have fun with it making it as a pizza. Yup Spinach Artichoke Pizza! This really is one of those when you make it people will think the whole thing was way harder than it really was and will think you really are a gourmet chef lol. Well you know me though I like easy, easy stuff that makes me look like a better cook than I am to company lol. So go ahead guys give this one a try I know you will totally love it! Spinach Artichoke Pizza Recipe

Sauce
  1. 1/2 Cup Milk
  2. 2 Tbsp. Cream Cheese
  3. 2 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
  4. 1 Tbsp. Butter
  5. 1 Tbsp. Flour
  6. 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  7. Red Pepper Flake
  8. Paprika
Pizza
  1. 1 Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  2. 1 Cup Spinach, Chopped
  3. 8 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  4. 6 oz. Marinated Artichokes, Drained and Chopped
  5. 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  6. 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  7. Cornmeal
Instructions
  1. Pre-Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In medium sauce pan melt butter over medium heat. Add in garlic and red pepper flake (red pepper flake to taste). Cook for about 1 minute until garlic becomes fragrant. Slowly add in flour and whisk until combined for about 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add in milk, half and half, paprika, salt and pepper. Whisk until combined and begins to thicken. Whisk in cream and parmesan cheese. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  4. While sauce is cooking, spread desired cornmeal on to baking tray or pizza stone. Lay dough over it, brush with olive oil and prick holes with a fork. Cook for about 5 minutes until it starts to turn a light golden color.
  5. Once dough is done remove from oven and carefully spread warm sauce over crust. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese, spinach, artichokes, then the last of the mozzarella. Bake for about 7-8 minutes.
  6. Add parmesan cheese over the top and place back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Cut and serve!!
