Orange Sweet Roll Pancakes

Here we are guys another weekend! Time for another awesome pancake of the week! Best part of my weekend lol =) Today I am making some Orange Sweet Roll Pancakes. These are a cool and fun little twist on a simple sweet roll and on pancakes. They have that sweet yet fruity taste the whole family will totally get into in the morning. Orange Sweet Roll Pancakes Recipe

Total Time 30 minutes
Course Breakfast
Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients
  

Pancakes

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter Melted
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • Zest of One Orange
  • Salt

Sweet Roll Swirl

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter Softened
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Combine softened butter, sugar and cinnamon for sweet roll swirl. Transfer to a plastic bag or pastry bag and set aside.
  • In large bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and orange zest. 
  • In a medium bowl beat sour cream, melted butter, egg and milk. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until combined completely.
  • Heat pan/skillet over medium heat and pouring batter into pan a 1/4 cup at a time. Allow to cook for about two minutes.
  • Cut the tip off of the baggie your sweet roll swirl is in, after the pancakes cook for a couple of minutes pipe the swirl into the uncooked side of the pancakes.
  • Remove from heat and serve swirl side up!
