Mashed Potato Meatloaf Casserole

Sometimes you want an easy dinner you can serve to the whole family that you know they will all dig and give a try. Well this is exactly what this recipe is. This Mashed Potato Meatloaf Casserole Recipe is so freaking good and so easy. I had several kids from the Football spend the night and hang out with my son while filming this one and they devoured the whole thing while playing a Madden tournament on Xbox. I figured I would have some left overs in the morning but yea… didn’t work out that way lol. So you know you can feed this to teens with out a problem. If teens will eat this everyone will. So go ahead guys give this bit of comfort food a try I know you will love this one!

Ingredients
  1. 4 Cups Mashed Potatoes
  2. 1 lb. Ground Beef
  3. 1/2 Cup Onion, Diced
  4. 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  5. 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  6. 1 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  7. 1 Egg
  8. 4-6 Bacon Slices, Crumbled
  9. 1-1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. In large mixing bowl combine ground beef, onions, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce using your hands.
  3. Add bread crumbs and egg to the meat mixture and continue mixing it with your hands.
  4. Press the meat mixture evenly into an 8 inch square baking dish.
  5. Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat using a rubber spatula.
  6. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top followed by the bacon.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place in oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
