Ingredients
- 6 Everything Bagels
- 1 Onion, Diced
- 3 Celery Stalks, Diced
- 4 Green Onions, Diced
- 2-1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spread the bagel cubes in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake, stirring halfway through, until the bread is dry and lightly toasted, 20 minutes total.
- Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add the onions and celery and cook, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are very soft, about 10 minutes. Stir in the green onions, then turn off the heat.
- Whisk Eggs and Cream together.
- Place toasted bagels in large bowl pours cream mixture and chicken broth over bagels. Add sautéed vegetables and stir until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil. Bake until a knife inserted in the center of the stuffing comes out warm, about 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until the top is crispy and golden-brown, 15 to 20 minutes more.
