How to make Egg Roll Ramen

Total Time 35 minutes
Course Dinner, Main Course
Cuisine American, Asian
Servings 6 Servings

Ingredients

  • 3 3 oz. Ramen Packages
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. Ground Ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 lb. Ground Pork
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper Sliced
  • 1 16 oz. Bag Coleslaw Mix w/ Carrots
  • 2 Green Onions Chopped

Instructions

  • In a small bowl whisk together the cornstarch and soy sauce until dissolved. Add in ginger, hoisin, vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook your ramen one minute less than the packages instructions, toss out the flavor packs. Drain the noodles and toss in 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil.
  • In a pan/skillet heat 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil and add in your sliced onions. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes, to allow them to start to get soft. Add in the garlic and cook for about another 30 second or until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  • Add pork into the pan, allow to sit and sear for about 30 seconds, then break up and cook until no pink remains. Add in the bell pepper and slaw mix and cook for about 3 to 40 minutes.
  • Add in the ramen noodles and sauce you prepared and cook for another couple of minutes.
  • Top with green onion and serve.
