So I totally had a craving for some donuts, but needed to make a french toast recipe. So this is one of those times I asked myself why can’t I make french toast with donuts? Well I did exactly that! This is totally a breakfast food porn kinda idea lol. Seriously this Donut French Toast recipe is so freaking good! You guys need to try this one, just to try it. It is one of those recipes that is just fun and playful that I know everyone will get a kick out of. Donut French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 Day Old Donuts Halved
- 2 Eggs
- 2/3 Cup Milk
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. Honey
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
Instructions
- In shallow bowl whisk together milk, eggs, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Dunk both sides of donuts into egg mixture quickly. Donuts soak this up faster than bread would.
- Place donuts into a heated pan/skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
