Hey guys! Happy Monday, I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. Today I decided to throw together a fun little stuffed shell recipe. This time it is some Chicken Cordon Bleu Stuffed Shells! OMG this is a cool and great tasting little dinner that will totally kill it in your house. Heck the filling in these shells alone totally kick butt lol. I held back on the salt on mine a little and topped it with a little crispy prosciutto. To give it a little flavor kick. So when you do make this one make sure to take a picture of this one for me and post it to my Facebook page!

Cordon Bleu Stuffed Shells Recipe

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: 4 Servings

Cordon Bleu Stuffed Shells Recipe

Ingredients

  • 9-12 Jumbo Pasta Shells
  • 1/2 lb. Rotisserie Chicken, Shredded
  • 1-1/2 Cup Gruyere Cheese, Shredded
  • 1-1/4 Cup Milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon
  • 4 Prosciutto Slices
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a pot bring water to a boil add jumbo shells and allow to cook for 10-12 minutes until cooked all the way.
  2. Place slices of prosciutto on the baking sheet. Bake for about 3 to 5 minutes at 375 or until crispy. Remove from oven, cool, and then chop.
  3. Heat skillet/pan melt the butter mix in the flour and stir until a roux forms. Gradually add the milk and continue to stir until thickened.
  4. In medium bowl mix dijon, shredded chicken, salt and pepper. Mix in cheese sauce.
  5. Fill each cooked shell with chicken filling and place into a prepped baking dish. Top the shells with remaining 1/2 cup Gruyere, cover the top with foil, and bake for about 25 minutes at 375.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh chives and crispy prosciutto.
