Simple Cheesy Steak Onion Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Steak Thinly Sliced
- 1 Onion Thinly Sliced
- 1 Bell Pepper Sliced
- 8 oz. Mushrooms Sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1-1/2 Cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded
- 4 Buns
Instructions
- Place sliced steak into a bowl, season with salt and pepper, toss so it is all coated and set aside.
- In a large skillet heat 1 tablespoon of butter, once melted and sizzling add in the seasoned steak, cooking each side for about 2 minutes. Remove from pan and place in a bowl covered.
- Add the rest of the butter into the skillet and allow it to melt. Add in the sliced vegetables and cool for about 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally until they are nice and tender.
- Add steak back in, along with Worcestershire and Soy sauce. Mix together, last add in cheese until it is melted.
- Place on toasted buns and serve.
