Hey guys, it’s Saturday…. errr no no it isn’t lol. It’s actually Sunday and between my annual BBQ last week and my son’s Homecoming this weekend I am running WAY behind lol. So I am going to put two French Toast recipes this week. First up.. Caramel Apple French Toast! It’s fall that means it’s time for those freaking great Affy Tapples… yup Caramel and Apples. I mean it’s apples every where so yes we are doing them in French Toast too! So go ahead guys give this one a try I know you will love it. Caramel Apple French Toast Recipe

Total Time 25 minutes
Course Breakfast, Dessert
Cuisine American
Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Texas Toast Slices
  • 3 Apples Peeled and Sliced
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Caramel Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a pan/skillet combine apples and caramel sauce, stir so apples are coated. Cook for about 15 minutes until apples are soft.
  • In shallow dish combine eggs, milk, and cinnamon. Dip both sides of each slice of Texas Toast into the mixture.
  • In another pan/skillet cook each slice until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each side.
  • To serve place a piece of French Toast on a plate, top with caramel apples and then a second slice of toast. Top with syrup, or powdered sugar.
