Thanksgiving is creeping closer and closer all the time guys! So I am going to keep throwing some great Thanksgiving style recipes out there for you. Today I am doing Bacon Wrapped Stuffing! Yup I just took your favorite Thanksgiving side dish and turned it into an appetizer lol. When I was done filming this it totally dawned on me that your Thanksgiving gravy would make an awesome dipping sauce for these also. Seriously though guys come on I mean it’s stuffing all of you love.. and BACON. I mean that one thing right there puts it over the top. So when you do make these make sure to take a picture and post it to my Facebook page.

Bacon Wrapped Stuffing Recipe

Total Time: 1 hour

Yield: 6 Servings

Bacon Wrapped Stuffing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6.5 oz. Cornbread Stuffing Mix
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Pecans, Chopped
  • 1/3 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Onion, Diced
  • 1/2 Cup Parsley
  • 1/2 Apple, Chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 2 Italian Sausages, Chunked
  • 1 tsp. Curry Powder
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Zest
  • 12 Bacon Slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine stuffing mix, egg and milk.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, parsley, apple and pecans. Mix to combine. Add the torn sausage, curry powder and lemon zest. Mix to combine.
  4. Arrange the bacon strips on a baking sheet. Take a small mound of stuffing and form a little log, or finger. Place the mound in the center of each bacon strip. Wrap the bacon around the stuffing.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and stuffing is browned and cooked through.
