How to Make Bacon Beer Cheese Stuffing

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 Cup Butter
  • 2 Celery Stalks Chopped
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Beer
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 10 Cups French Breads Cubes Stale
  • 10 Bacon Slices Cooked and Crumbled
  • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 2 tsp. Sage
  • 1 Tbsp. Thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F.
  • Melt butter in a skillet, add celery, onion salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 6 to 8 minutes, until vegetables are tender. Add in beer and bring to a simmer. Reduce liquid by half and remove from heat.
  • In a small bowl whisk together eggs, Worcestershire sauce and chicken brother, and set aside.
  • In a large bowl toss together French bread, 1/2 of the baco, 1/2 of the cheddar cheese, 1/2 Tbsp. Thyme and the sage. Pour vegetable mixture and broth mixture over bread and toss so bread gets saturated.
  • Transfer to a prepared baking dish, cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes, remove the foil and bake another 20 minutes. Until it is crisped and a golden brown.
