How to Make Chicken Parmesan Calzone Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  • 6 Chicken Tenders Cooked and Chopped
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 3/4 Cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter Melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400˚F.
  • Roll out the pizza dough so it is roughly a 12" circle.
  • Over half of the circle spread 1/2 Cup of the pizza sauce, leaving about a 1" border around the edge. Top the sauce with 1 cup mozzarella, all of your chopped chicken and all of the parmesan cheese.
  • Fold the dough in half creating a half moon. Crimp the edges to seal shut.
  • Place onto your baking pan or pizza stone. Brush the top with the melted butter then slice 3 small slits in the top of the calzone. Place in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, top with remaining sauce, and cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • All to cool for about 5 minutes, slice and serve.
