Teriyaki Chicken Tacos w/ Pineapple Pear Salsa

Many people think the grill and grilling on it is just for meats and maybe some corn, but there are so many fun things you can do with other foods to make their flavors pop out on that grill. This recipe centers around two things not typically thought of to be grill food. Pineapple and Pear! The grilled Pineapple Pear Salsa that I top these Teriyaki Chicken Tacos with is an amazing little twist on a classic taco topping. Grilling it really brings out the flavor in these and mixed little bit of Jalapeno and Onion give it an exciting blend of flavors with just a bit of bite back to it. While this take a little bit of time to cook they are an over all simple recipe that come out having an out of this world result!

Tacos
  1. Teriyaki Marinade
  2. 1-1/2 lbs. Chicken Breasts
  3. 4-6 Taco Size Flour Tortillas
  4. 2 Cups Monterrey Jack Cheese, Shredded
  5. 1-1/4 Cups Rice, Cooked
Pineapple Lime Cream
  1. 5.3 oz. pckg Pineapple Yogurt
  2. 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  3. 1/2 Tbsp. Lime Juice
Grilled Pineapple Pear Salsa
  1. 1/2 Pineapple, trimmed and sliced
  2. 1 Pear, Sliced
  3. 1 Red Bell Pepper, Quartered
  4. 1 Small Red Onion, Quartered
  5. 1 Jalapeno
  6. Lime Juice
  7. 1/8 tsp. Ginger
  8. 1/8 tsp. Cumin
  9. Salt
  10. Pepper
