OMG it’s finally FRIDAY!! Sweet we have a long weekend this weekend that means it’s time to head out and hit the grill with another amazing burger recipe. You guys know by now I totally love my freaking burgers… completely! I am closing in on 100 different burger recipe son this channel too WOW!! Anyway for this weekend I am killing it with a Sriracha Bacon Blue Cheeseburger! This burger has a cool twist on the candied bacon I love to make that really makes the burger come alive. Add in the freaking awesome creamy chipotle sauce on it and this burger is freaking over the top! You seriously need to try this one and totally fall in love. Sriracha Bacon Blue Cheeseburger Recipe

Total Time: 31 minutes

Serving Size: 4 Servings

Sriracha Bacon Blue Cheeseburger Recipe

Ingredients

  • Chipotle Sauce:
  • 1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Chipotles in Adobo
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • Salt
  • Burger:
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 8 Bacon Strips
  • 4 oz. Blue Cheese, Crumbled
  • 1 Red Onion, Sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. Sriracha Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Apple Pie Spice
  • Mixed Greens
  • 1/2 Cup Chipotle Sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 Brioche Buns

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix Sriracha Seasoning and Apple Pie spice. Lay out bacon on baking sheet, and coat bacon with the seasoning mix. Bake for 10-12 minutes, flip over re-coat and pop back in for another 10 minutes.
  3. Form beef in to four patties, salt and pepper to taste, then grill to desired temperature.
  4. For Chipotle sauce mix all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  5. To assemble, lay greens on bottom bun, then burger patty, chipotle sauce, sliced onion, Sriracha bacon, blue cheese and then close it up with the top bun.

Notes

If you can't find sriracha seasoning you can take a non-stick silicon baking mat. Lay it on a baking sheet and spread a couple Tbsp. of sriracha thinly across it. Set your oven to the lowest possible temperature and back for about 45 minutes. The sriracha will be blackish and brittle you can then crumble it.
