Spicy Italian Drunken Noodles

Anthony wrestled in sectionals this weekend, he took 2nd place so Friday I am headed down to Springfield for FroSoph State! Well that was my weekend lol, now on to the recipe. I decided to do a few more dinners hopefully you guys like them. (if not drop a comment let me know if I should keep throwing them out there) This time we are making Italian Drunken Noodles. The only let down.. is they are as drunk as some of us need to be after a long day at work lol kidding kidding! Anyway guys this is a cool dinner I know you will love so go ahead and give this one a try, when you do be sure to take a pic and post it to my Facebook page!

Italian Drunken Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Spicy Italian Sausage Links Removed from Casing
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 1 Red Orange & Yellow Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1/2 Cup Wine
  • 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 8 oz. Pappardelle Noodles Cooked as per Package Instructions
  • 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Parsley
  • 2 tbsp. Basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large pan/skillet with about 1-2 Tbsp. of olive oil. Add in the sausage, break up and brown it. Once browned remove it from the pan and set aside until ready to use.
  • Add sliced onion, allow to cook for about 5 minutes until it starts browning. Add in Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Next add all the sliced bell peppers. Allow to cook for another couple of minutes.
  • Add garlic in and allow to cook until it becomes fragrant. Add the white wine and allow to reduce down for a couple of minutes.
  • After the wine has reduced down add the tomatoes in, and return the sausage to the pan, add parsley and basil mix everything together and allow to cook for several minutes.
  • Gently add in the noodles mix together and serve.
