Today I am throwing out an all around versatile recipe. These Smoked Sausage Cheesy Potatoes can be a warm little breakfast, it could be a comfort food side dish heck it can be a chilly Sunday early dinner lol. This is one of those super easy little prep throw it in a slow cooker and bam you have an awesome little meal. This is one of those you can feed the whole family and they will totally fall in love with it. So go ahead guys make this one, everyone will thank you for it. Oh! Ingredients
- 30 oz. Shredded Hash Browns, Thawed
- 1 Eckrich Smoked Sausage, Sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
- 1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
- 8 oz. Sour Cream
- 8 oz. French Onion Dip
- 1/2 Cup Onion, Diced
- Seasoning Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- In large skillet cook Eckrick Smoked Sausage and onion. Cook thoroughly & set aside.
- In large mixing bowl combine 1 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese & all other ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon 1/2 of hash brown potato mixute into bottom of slow cooker.
- Next layer on the cooked sausage & onion, spreading pieces evenly.
- Layer on remaining hash brown potato mixture.
- Finish with remaining shredded cheese.
- Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low for 3 hours.
