Smoked Jalapeno Poppers

Ok I know I talk about easy recipes all the time but sometimes I have some that are so freaking easy, that easy is too complicated of a term to describe them lol. These Smoked Jalapeno Poppers really are that simple guys and let’s be honest anything smoked is sooooo good taste wise lol. This is an appetizer you can make a ton of really easily with out a lot of work. It is one off those put them out there and just forget about them until the timer goes off lol. You know just the way we like to cook. No worries no work! So go ahead give these little bad boys a try. I know you are going to totally fall in love with them and want to make them all the time.

Don’t have a smoker? Just a regular grill? No problem just use indirect heat and place your wood around the edges of the grill.. BAM same effect =)

Ingredients
  1. 15 Large Jalapenos
  2. 3 Cups Cheese, Shredded ( I used a combination of Cheddar and Colby)
  3. 1 lb. Bacon, sliced
Instructions
  1. Slice the pepper open end to end and remove seeds. Be careful not to tear the pepper.
  2. Spoon in the cheese, fill as much as you can while still being able to close pepper.
  3. Wrap it tight with the bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Bring smoker up to 225 degrees, place poppers on grill and allow to smoke for 45 Minutes.
