Simple Beef and Broccoli Dinner

Hopefully everyone is doing well, and is healthy. I know with social distancing right now not everyone is able to get out of the house as much as you may like and you are craving that take out dinner. Well hopefully this super quick and simple dinner will let you feel like you are having a great take out style dinner while staying home. The best part is this Simple Beef and Broccoli Dinner doesn’t take any time at all to make. Seriously anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes and bam you’re done. It took me about 17 minutes to film this one. I know you guys will love this dinner when you try it. Make sure to take a picture and post it to my Facebook page!

Simple Beef and Broccoli Dinner Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Flank Steak
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 4 Cups Broccoli Florets Chopped
  • 1 Onion Sliced
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper Thinly Sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Mushrooms Sliced
  • Rice or Noodles

For Sauce:

  • 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Ginger
  • 1 tsp. Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Slice steak into thin, 3″ long strips. In a large bowl mix together cornstarch and water until completely combined. Toss the steak in the in the mixture until it is fully coated and set aside.
  • In a large skillet heat olive oil over a medium heat. Add in the steak and allow to fry for 4 or 5 minutes, until it is no longer pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add garlic, broccoli, onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms into the same skillet. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes and add steak back in.
  • In a small bowl whisk together all the sauce ingredients and pour it into the skillet. Allow to cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Serve over rice or noodles ( I used some unflavored ramen lol).
