What’s up everyone?! Happy Saturday =). Looks like I started a pattern here with how I do the French Toast of the Week lol. So since last week I had some fun and did a sweeter recipe I will do a more down to Earth one this week lol. We are making some Poppy Seed French toast. This is a super easy little twist on regular French Toast that you guys will totally love. I mean sometimes it is cool to throw little twists into thing so we aren’t doing the same thing over and over lol. Go ahead guys give this one a try I know you will be making it a lot more often. When you do make it make sure you take a pic and post it to my Facebook page.

Poppy Seed French Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 6 Texas Toast Slices
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Poppy Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. Almond Extract

Instructions
 

  • Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, poppy seeds and almond extract in a shallow dish.
  • Dunk bread into egg mixture, allowing it to soak in for about 10-15 seconds per side.
  • In heated pan/skillet cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
