Hey guys happy Friday! Today’s recipe is a little longer than usual BUT it is totally worth it. There is nothing quit like these Crème Brûlée Brownies. If you have that sweet tooth and you like Crème Brûlée or you like Brownies there is nothing that nails it like this one. I am not lying when I say you will need a couple glasses of milk on stand by for these brownies lol. Go ahead and make this one guys you will fall in love with it. Crème Brûlée Brownies

Ingredients
  

Brownies:

  • 1 Cup Butter Melted
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1-1/3 Cups Flour
  • 12 oz. Hot Fudge Sauce

Topping:

  • 1/4 Cup Cornstarch
  • 1-1/4 Cups Sugar Divided
  • 6 Tbsp. Butter Melted
  • 3 Cups Half & Half
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350˚.
  • In a large bowl whisk together the melted butter and cocoa powder. Next whisk in the sugar and vanilla until completely combined, then one at a time mix in the eggs. Fold in the flour until it is just barely completely combined. Lastly fold in the hot fudge sauce. Pour into a foil lined baking dish.
  • Place in the oven and allow to cook for about 20 minutes, until the batter no longer sticks to a toothpick. Remove from the oven and allow the brownies to cool on a rack.
  • In a sauce pan whisk together cornstarch and 1Cup of sugar oven a medium heat. Add in melted butter and half anf half bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer while constantly stirring. Once it thickens up remove from the heat and add the vanilla.
  • Pour over the brownies, sprinkle the remaining sugar and place in the broiler or use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar.
  • Place in the fridge to cool and cut into bars to serve.
