This is a classic appetizer that is simple and everyone loves. Every restaurant serves them they are so popular. What makes them taste better? Making them fresh! This recipe isn’t an exact amount kinda recipe, this one will vary depending on is your making small for just a few friends or making a ton for a whole party of friends. You can’t beat Classic Potato Skins!

Ingredients
  1. Potatoes
  2. Bacon
  3. Shredded Cheese
  4. Green Onions
Instructions
  1. Boil potatoes for about 45 minutes. Remove from heat, drain water and allow potatoes to cool.
  2. Slice potatoes in half. Using a spoon scoop out each potato, hollowing it out completely.
  3. In pan on stove top or a fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry hollowed out potatoes for 2-3 minutes it doesn't take long for them to become crispy and a nice golden brown. Pull out of oil and place on paper towels to allow them to dry.
  4. Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Place potatoes on a baking sheet, fill each with cheese and bacon. Place int he oven, they don't need to be in for long you just need to melt the cheese.
Notes
  1. That's it pull them out of the oven serve with some sour cream and BOOM! You have some amazing potato skins!
