Chicken and Gouda Jalapeño Poppers

What’s up guys! Its Friday we made it through the week and now it is time to relax! Sweet!! So why not make something that fits a weekend right? I mean we need those great finger food appetizers. Why not some Chicken and Gouda Jalapeño Poppers? Yup this is a great tasting twist on the classic popper. I mean don’t get me wrong I LOVE regular poppers but you know I just can’t leave things be lol. I always have to try and next level it. Anyway go ahead guys give this one a try, when you to make it be sure to take pix and post them to my Facebook page!

Chicken and Gouda Jalapeño Poppers Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 10 oz. Chicken Breast
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese Softened
  • 8 oz. Smoked Gouda Shredded
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 10 Jalapeños Halved & Seeded
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Season chicken breast with paprika, salt and pepper.
  • Heat a little olive oil in a pan/skillet. Place chicken in heated pan and cook for a couple minutes on each side. Add in chicken broth into pan cover and allow to simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from pan allow to cool then shred with a fork and set aside. Pre-heat oven to 350˚.
  • In medium bowl combine cream cheese, chicken, and gouda and mix together.
  • Spoon filling into each halved jalapeño evenly.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the stuffing starts ot become bubbly.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle a little extra paprika and serve.
