It’s time for another great Puerto Rican recipe. This time it’s a nice hardy Puerto Rican Beef Stew.. a Carne Guisada. I make this one as taught to me by my dad and it is loved in my house. So go ahead and give this one a try I know you guys will love it!

Es hora de otra gran receta puertorriqueña. Esta vez es un guisado de carne de vacuno puertorriqueño agradable … un Carne Guisada. Hago esto como me enseñó mi papá y es amado en mi casa. Así que adelante y darle una oportunidad. ¡Sé que les encantará!

Ingredients
  1. 3lbs. Beef, Cubed
  2. 8 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
  3. 1 pkg. Sazon
  4. 3 Potatoes, Peeled and Cubed
  5. 1 Cup of Carrots
  6. 4 Garlic Cloves, Diced
  7. 1/4 Cup Green Olives
  8. 1 Cup Cilantro, Diced
  9. 4 Tbsp. Sofrito
  10. 2 Tbsp. Adobo
  11. 1 tsp Oregano
  12. 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  13. 1 tsp Crushed Bay Leaves
  14. Water (enough to cover the stew)
  15. 2 Tbsp. Canola Oil
