Bacon Beer Cheese Sloppy Joe

So here we are, New Year’s Eve!! This is it the very last recipe of 2018 so I decided to pull one out and go over the top completely! That said I give to you the Bacon Beer Cheese Sloppy Joe. OMG This is a massive filling, great tasting easy to make ultimate comfort food meal lol. Yup it is all those things rolled into one giant sandwich. Let’s be honest too if you are planning on eating healthy in 2019 you might as well have one more not so healthy dish before you dive in lol. So go ahead guys give this one a try! Bacon Beer Cheese Sloppy Joe Recipe

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Servings 4 MASSIVE Servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 lb. Ground Beef
  • 2 Cups Cheddar Cheese Cubed
  • 8 Slices Bacon
  • 1 Cup Guinness
  • 1 Onion Diced
  • 1/2 Cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 Cup Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 Burger Buns

Instructions
 

  • Chop and cook bacon to desired crispness in pan over medium heat. Remove bacon from pan and set aside. Leaving grease in the pan.
  • Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add ground beef, breaking it up and brown it all the way through.
  • Add in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dijon, and beer. Stir until combined and cook until it thickens to where you like it. (I let mine go about 10 minutes)
  • Add in cubes of cheese and bacon. Stir in and allow to sit with the heat off for about 5 minutes.
  • Serve on toasted burger buns!
