Hey guys! So it’s freezing out here in Chicago so I figured I would do a good stew to warm things up a bit. This time for a stew I dug into my Puerto Rican recipes for an awesome Puerto Rican stew. We are doing a Bacalao Guisado, whats that you ask? It is a Codfish Stew. This is a pretty darn easy recipe not a lot goes into it. This is a classic Puerto Rican stew with a lot of great flavors. You should really give this one a try!

Esta vez para un estofado cavé en mis recetas puertorriqueñas para un estofado puertorriqueño impresionante. Estamos haciendo un Bacalao Guisado, ¿qué es lo que pides? Es un estofado de bacalao. Esta es una receta bastante maldita fácil que no va mucho en ella. Este es un guiso clásico puertorriqueño con un montón de grandes sabores. Deberías darle una oportunidad a este!

Ingredients
  1. 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  2. 1-1/2 lbs. Bacalao/Cod
  3. 1 Cup Bell Peppers, Sliced
  4. 1 Cup White Onion, Chunked
  5. 1/2 lbs. Yucca or Potatoes
  6. 2 Tbsp. Sofrito (Need a recipe? Here's mine https://youtu.be/s9IZT3v1P2Y)
  7. 1/4 Cup Tomato Sauce
  8. 1 tsp. Oregano
  9. 1 pckg. Sazon
  10. 1/2 Cup Water
  11. 1/4 Cup Pimento Olives
  12. 1/4 Cilantro, Chopped
  13. Salt
  14. Pepper
