In small bowl mix together ricotta, powdered sugar and vanilla until completely combined. Mix in chocolate chips and set aside.
In shallow bowl whisk together eggs and cream.
Make "sandwiches" with the french bread and ricotta mixture by scooping a liberal amount spreading it across one slice and placing another slice on top.
Dunk each side of the sandwich into your egg mixture allowing it to soak in.
Cook in pan/skillet until golden brown about 3-4 minutes on each side.
