So this week’s pancake of the week came because a friend ask me specifically if I could make these once as a pancake. Well here you go lol ask and you will receive! This is another one of those really over the top dessert style breakfasts that I know people will totally LOVE! These Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes are so freaking good Oh My God! You add on top of it the home made peanut butter whipped cream and this just becomes an insanely great breakfast. Now I also made a home made chocolate sauce, for this part you could easily pick up bottle at the store but come on where is the fun in that lol. Anyway guys seriously you need to give this one a try, and when you do make sure to take a picture and post it to my Facebook page!

Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes Recipe

Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients

  • Pancakes:
  • 1-1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1-1/3 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Reeses Mini Peanut Butter Cups, Chunked
  • 1/4 Cup Butter, Melted
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Peanut Butter Whipped Cream:
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Powdered Sugar
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • Chocolate Sauce:
  • 2/3 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 6 oz. Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In second bowl whisk together egg, milk, butter, and peanut butter. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients until completely combined. Fold in Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
  3. Heat skillet/pan over medium heat. Using about 1/4 Cup at a time pour batter into skillet/pan and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each size.
  4. While pancakes are cooking, in medium bowl beat heavy whipping cream until it forms soft peaks. Add in powdered sugar and continue to beat. Once cream starts to become thick mix in peanut butter and vanilla.
  5. Lastly for the chocolate sauce, place chocolate chips in a small bowl. In a small sauce pan bring cream to a simmer and pour over chocolate, after several seconds (allowing chips to soften in heated cream) stir until it is smooth.
  6. Top pancakes with peanut butter whipped cream, chocolate sauce and more chunked Reese Peanut Butter Cups!
